Barrett's Esophagus Translational Research Network (BETRNet)

The Barrett's Esophagus Translational Network consists of renowned investigators at the forefront of advancing the field of Barrett's esophagus. The BETRNet overall objective of BETRNet is to achieve a better understanding of esophageal adenocarcinoma (EA) biology, improve EA cancer risk stratification and prediction, provide strategies for EA prevention, and better define individuals at risk.  Our Research Center is made up of basic scientists, clinical researchers, pathologists, biostatisticians, and bioinformatics specialists from Columbia University, the University of Pennsylvania, the Mayo Clinic, and the University of Michigan.
