BETRNet

Barrett's Esophagus Translational Research Network (BETRNet)

BETRNet is an initiative sponsored by the National Cancer Institute and comprises of three multi-center translational Research Centers and a Coordinating Center.  The consortium is funded by a U54 mechanism from the NCI.  The BETRNet overall objective is to achieve a better understanding of esophageal adenocarcinoma (EA) biology, improve EA cancer risk stratification and prediction, provide strategies for EA prevention, and better define individuals at risk.
